Indoor Season 2017 – 2018

Registration for the 2017/18 indoor season is now OPEN!  Below you’ll find a lot of information on the season, how to register & pay – please review prior to registering.  If you can’t find the answer to a question, please contact our zone Administrator (

Season Start Date: Saturday, October 14th, 2017

Due to field availability, holidays, time restrictions you may be required to play a few of your games on a different playing day other than what is listed below. For the same reason, EMSA is unable to grant any rescheduling requests during the indoor season. The only exceptions will be made for tournaments and those will only be considered prior to scheduling. For Premier Club teams the deadline is Sept 25 at 9am, for Community teams the deadline is Oct 2 at 9am.

Indoor Soccer Registration

  • Indoor Soccer Registration will take place on September 7 & 17 at Hazeldean Hall 9630-66ave.
    • September 7th from 6-8:30 pm
    • September 17th from 12-3 pm
  •  Online registration opens July 15/17, please be sure to register on emsasoccerportal prior to attending Hazeldean Hall

  • The season begins October 14th and regular season play ends mid-February.  Christmas Break will start on Friday, Dec 22rd until Tuesday, January 2nd when games resume.  


  • City Finals:  February 24 & 25, 2018
  • Inter Cities:  March 10 & 11, 2018
  • Provincials:  March 16, 17 & 18, 2018

  • Games will be played at three Indoor Edmonton Soccer Association Facilities, as well as the Tri-Leisure Centre in Spruce Grove.
  • Facility Information



  • Purchase a 2017/18 community league membership (valid from September 1, 2017 – August 31, 2018) from the community where you live, or through EFCL.
  • Log in to your Household Account via the EMSA Soccer Portal.  ** If you have changed your address since you last registered, please contact the ESESA Administrator ( so the address can be changed and/or your community league name can be updated prior to registering.
  • If you don’t have an account, follow the step by step instructions in the Soccer Portal to create one.
  • Register all players for the 2017/18 indoor season.  You must register under the community where you live.  You may request for your child to play in another community but please keep in mind it is only a request and there is no guarantees that your child will be allowed to play in another community team.
  • Team Officials – Please complete your child’s registration first then register yourself as a team official. When completing the team official registration please add in community name, age level, and gender as well as team official role (Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Manager).


  • Refunds and Withdrawals

    • To withdraw a player and request a refund, please contact your Community Soccer Director or the ESESA Registrar at
      • Refund requests received on or before Oct 14, 2017 are subject to a $50 administrative fee.
      • Refund requests received after Oct 14, 2017 are subject to a $105 administrative fee and the refund issued will be prorated based on percentage of games played, up to a maximum of 50%, after which no refunds will be issued.
      • All fees are 100% non-refundable commencing Oct 21, 2017.
      • Storm Fees – 100% non-refundable once your child accepts a position on Storm.
